Day 7 & 8 at Selinas

Monday I  worked most of the day w students in seminar.  I left for about an hour for a nice walk and lunch in the early aft at The Garden Cafe then came back to work until late afternoon.  Then 6 pm yoga at ElPure gym and back to Selina’s for a snack and bed.

Looking back up centre street from the lake which I never quite got to on Monday.

Tuesday was a busy day in co work w so many teams meetings popping up that I munched on some almonds from my pack for lunch.  About 4 pm I’d had enough sitting and headed out to see if I could actually reach the lake - I made it and along centre st I met Todd from Kamloops who lives in Granada.

Arrived at the edge of lake Nicauragua.

On my way back, these girls were running a young female artist concept store so I bought one of their tshirts to support the cause and part of the deal is they wanted a photo to document the power of women helping each other.

After yoga I was starving so I headed to Pita Pita for dinner.  This place was amazing - the food was sooo good and it was set in a garden.  Mo recommended it and he was true.

The Arabic salad w tahini dressing

Appetizer Spicy orange chicken Savlaki - so good!

It had to be good for me to take a photo of the
Menu!
I met a tour guide just outside Selina’s this evening so I made a deal w him to pick me up at 8 am for the port to board the ferry to Omotepe.  Pretty excited for this trip.  I’m booked into El Pital chocolate factory and hostel  there for two nights, then hopefully a volcano trek on Concepcion Friday and back to Selina’s for a night to grab my suitcase and head for Managua on sat.  My flight home is 545 am Sunday so I’m staying sat night at airport hotel in Managua.  ($37 Canadian).  Just booke it tonight so we’ll see.🤔
