Day 5 - Waterville to Caherdaniel
Today was a shorter day with some of the nicest views so far. It was a relatively easy day with 17 km and 74 floors of elevation.
One of the last buildings - a gift shop- as we left Waterville.
Waterville is a golfing area and the yellow building is the club house of the Pigs Head golf course.
About 1 km from our destination “The Blindpiper” pub Naomi came out to say hi on the country road and gather up her pup who had come out to meet us. After visiting for a few minutes on the road, she invited us in for tea and biscuits. What a lovely visit we had w her and her husband Kieran who are down from Dublin, minding their friends house and having a holiday all in one. After tea Kieran kindly gave us a lift to the local pub The Blindpiper. Thx again to you both- too kind and we loved our visit w you both.
Destination reached and after a few sips of local IPA I’m apparently very chatty.
