Day 7 - Sneem

Touring day in Sneem … a little walk about… some shopping…lattes at the bakery, followed shortly by…you guessed it - a pint at Dan Murphy’s.

We then did the walk of shame back to D. O’Sheas and met our proprietor from the night before….lovely man Garbhan Kabanagh…the same gentleman who told the old boy to return to his stool the night before as he was as getting a bit over enamerous.  (New vocab for both Barb and I)

No problem getting Barb to smile here with her arm around Garbhan.

While enjoying a pint in the sunshine at Dan Murphy’s, we met Mark and Georgina, on a mini-break from Killarney.  They sorted us all out on our bus plans and where I should go in Dingle.  Really lovely couple.

Ross - Barb will be wanting one of these clothes line structures on her return and actually I would like to order one as well once you are finished hers.🥰

A great chill day to rest our weary feet, catch up on laundry and finish grading papers.  (That last part would be Jill)

Well we had to eat dinner!  Back to O’Sheas we went and had the pleasure of meeting John Flanagan, who  manages Parknasilla Resort and Spa nearby- it looks pretty luxurious.  John was super fun to catch up w and was good pals with Garbhan so it was a really nice evening.
Big shout out to O’Sheas Bar in Sneem- seamlessly managed pub and best service on the Kerry Way.❤️.
