Day 5 (Sat) at Ros and Todd’s

Today was Friday in Canada and it was last day for TRU winter semester registrations, so a flurry of activity was waiting for me starting at 4 am w a frantic text from John Church.  The young Brazilian students had not yet been registered.  After a few phone calls and emails I think we got it sorted.

Right then, so I then googled hikes near CC and decided on the “Taylor’s Mistake to Godhead” route at the head of the peninsula.  A 1 hour drive from the farm but in between is CC and Riverside Market for another go at my Curiosity Gin bar. I honestly was not thinking that when I left - I actually had a yoga class booked at 4 pm, but after the 3 hour walk in the sun I was late for yoga but not Riverside Market.

This place is so cool!  There was a large network of underground tunnels as well.
The circle route I took was approx 10 km and 75 floors according to my phone and took just over 2

After returning to the car park at “Taylor’s Mistake” I found a lady serving soft ice cream/yogurt w your choice of fruit or berries…. the very best raspberry frozen yogurt and I was a bit peckish.  I then headed to Hedley Park which is such a beautiful park and a short walk to Riverside Market.  Just before I arrived Moo called and I got a bit turned around as to where I should park and it was quite a walk to the market but the good news was my google maps took me through the botanical gardens and the fruit veggie garden.

Above is the entrance to the fruit veg garden.  This is actually a pear tree trained around the trellis.  Loved it.

Would you look at this Rosemary!  It was almost a tree.

Photos below are of riverside market - curiosity #23 g&ts followed by f&c at my fav Irish bar.  If things are working - why change them?
